  • Industrial Eden

    October 24 – November 20, 2013

The main objective of the project "Industrial Eden" is to identify the factors that emerged with the industrial revolution and continue to guide the development of modern society.

The industrial age began with the hope that human life, work and thinking can be arranged with the same easiness as machines’ and cars’ construction.

Since that time, people are more likely to trust technology than themselves. To restore the confidence in own abilities, they begin to act like machines, using a variety of tools for correction of mind and body. This is the origin of all subsequent technocratic attitude to the man that dominated the twentieth century, according to the project curators Andrey Sidorenko and Irina Yatsyk.
