Art investments, the latest trends in the art market, opportunities for collectors in the modern global art arena- these and other issues were presented by Serge Tiroche, renowned collector, expert, founder of the public collections Tiroche DeLeon and START in Israel, known throughout the world . The meeting at Intercontinental Kiev was attended by collectors and people interested in this topic, supporting art in Ukraine and abroad.

The discussion was initiated by the Artcult Foundation and Artelia Consultancy from Monaco. Organizational partners: UART foundation, DLA Piper Ukraine, and Blackshield Capital.

Serge Tiroche was born in Israel in 1966 and grew up with art. His father was a highly respected gallery owner and dealer in New York, Tel-Aviv and Paris. Serge’s hands-on involvement in the art-world began over 20 years ago, working as an intern at Parisian auction house Loudmer. In 1992, Serge helped with the establishment of Tiroche Auction House in Israel and has since been closely involved with the family’s international Art trading activity.

In 2008, after 10 years career with Citigroup’s Private Bank as a managing director for Israel and Turkey, Serge left the firm in order to dedicate himself to what had become his lifetime mission: bridging art collecting and financial investment. He founded START, Israel's artist incubator project and Serge Tiroche Consultants, a financial services consultancy with focus on art. In 2009-2010 he was chairman of Artist Pension Thrust and in 2011 co-founded Art Vantage Ltd., owner of the Tiroche DeLeon Collection. In 2015 he co-founded a start-up to revolutionise the art logistics industry, ArtRunners.

Serge is a regular speaker in conferences and art investment seminars at the London Business School’s Annual Art Investment conference. He is passionate about developing platforms, educating and creating investment vehicles that will enable the greater public to access Art as an investment.

In Kiev Serge Tiroche came for opening of the exhibition "Israeli Contemporary Art" at Modern Art Research institute.
