Contemporary Art is generally accepted as a quite “tough” phenomenon. It is difficult to call it "beautiful", rather - outrageous and nihilistic. Can we presume existence of aesthetic perception today? Or the value of the "beauty " remains the prerogative of art history?
Beauty did not save the world, but perhaps will do, as its search is a perpetual process. Ukrainian artists participating in the project confirm viability of beauty in all its manifestations. Although, hardly can be considered as “adepts of beauty", Ukrainian artists can literally be called adherents of bright visuality, still affecting our emotional receptors.
Contemporary art is not talking by aesthetics, but breathing - so far as it remains an art. Artists research different versions of beauty - old and new, classic and modern. Beauty has many faces. Sometimes almost invisible, it may be perceived only by touch,for those unable to see ...
